Course Website

In this website project based course, we investigated the ways in which visualization can help or hinder a user’s experience.

Course Description
This course will examine the cognitive basis of successful multimedia designs. We will be interested in what makes an interactive system effective: what makes images easy to understand, animations clear and helpful, and why some sequences of images, text, and sounds make more sense than others. Students will learn Web design, assess their usability, and gain firsthand experience with the problems of visualization.
